TORSEY POND NATURE PRESERVE, Readfield (E) The 92-acre easement was granted by the Town of Readfield to protect open space and provide recreational opportunities. The preserve includes over a mile of wooded and marshy shoreline with small boggy islets and important wading bird and waterfowl habitat.

Access: The preserve has over 2 mi of walking trails. From Kents Hill go 1 mi north on Rt 41 to the parking lot on the right. There is a public boat launch at the south end of Torsey Pond for water access.
