Parker Pond Headland Preserve, Fayette (F) This 100-acre peninsula of land with 5,000 feet of pristine rocky shoreline in Parker Pond was purchased in 2004, supported by the Land for Maine’s Future Program and the Parker Pond Association. The preserve includes steep granite cliffs and a beautiful hemlock forest.

Trails & Access: Trails are currently being planned. There is a boat launching site on the Tower Road at the northeast part of Parker Pond.

Directions: From Route 17 in Kent’s Hill take Rt 41 north 3.6 miles to the Chimney in West Mt. Vernon. Take Sandy River Road 2.5 miles to Fellows Cove Road. Take Fellows Cove Road to the end to a parking area on the right.
