Join the Augusta Birding Club at 7 a.m. for the field component of this year’s Lyceum at the Howard Hill & Effie L. Berry Conservation Areas in Augusta. Participants will explore spring bird activity and learn how field observations contribute to the Maine Bird Atlas.
Meet at the end of Ganneston Drive at the Howard Hill entrance. No registration required.
The Kennebec Land Trust (KLT) works cooperatively with landowners and communities to conserve the forests, shorelands, fields, and wildlife that define central Maine. KLT protects land permanently, offers opportunities for people to learn about and enjoy the natural world, and works with partners to support sustainable forestry and farming.
