Please note: This event was originally listed as a trail-building work day. Due to a scheduling change, we will now be doing invasive plant removal instead. We apologize for any confusion.
Join Kennebec Land Trust staff from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. for a volunteer invasive plant removal work day at the Curtis Homestead Conservation Area in Leeds. We will focus on invasive species that are beginning to encroach on the field area from the surrounding edges, including bittersweet, shrubby honeysuckle, and barberry.
Please dress for the outdoors and wear sturdy, closed-toe footwear. Gloves are recommended if you have them.
Registration is required. This program is free. All experience levels are welcome.
