All upcoming events and programs of the Kennebec Land Trust
Join Kennebec Land Trust staff from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. for a volunteer work day at the Curtis Homestead Conservation Area in Leeds. We will replace bog bridging along the Upper Fields Trail to improve safe passage through wet sections of the trail. Please dress for the outdoors and wear sturdy, closed-toe footwear suited to wet, uneven terrain.
Registration is required. This program is free.
All experience levels are welcome.
Space is limited to 25 participants.
The Kennebec Land Trust (KLT) works cooperatively with landowners and communities to conserve the forests, shorelands, fields, and wildlife that define central Maine. KLT protects land permanently, offers opportunities for people to learn about and enjoy the natural world, and works with partners to support sustainable forestry and farming.
