Drawing on Maine Audubon’s Native Plants Initiative, Andrew Tufts will explore how native plants form the foundation of healthy wildlife habitats and why even small, developed landscapes play an outsized role in supporting biodiversity. The program will be held from 5:00–6:30 p.m. at Bailey Public Library in Winthrop. Participants will learn practical, place-based strategies for restoring ecological function in yards, neighborhoods, and community spaces.
