Calling all volunteers! Join Kennebec Land Trust staff to build bridging at the Curtis Homestead Conservation Area in Leeds. We will improve the hiking experience, minimize erosion, and prevent future trail-creep by building bridging along the Curtis Rock Trail. Be prepared to carry in supplies, dig in the dirt, and help build the structure! All experience levels are welcome. Basic bridge-building education will be given.
The work day will go 10am - 3pm. Come for as little or as much time as you would like. Just bring lunch if you plan to stay into the afternoon!
Please bring a water bottle, dress for the weather, and wear sturdy, closed-toe footwear. Gloves are recommended if you have them, but we have extras!
